Rahama Sadau, Classiq, MOPPAN and Fans: What you need to know

Currently the most trending topic in Arewa (Northern Nigeria) is the issue concerning the expulsion of Rahama Sadau from the KannyWood Movie industry, let’s take time to analyse all the facts i could get.

Let’s start with Classiq one of the hottest names when you talk music in Arewa decided to feature Rahama Sadau in his recently released video titled ‘I love you’ due to the exceptional acting ability of Rahama Sadau why not use her in his video since she is good and also one of the most popular actress in Arewa, of course it will greatly expand his fan base and create more awareness to his brand. But since both of them are trying to promote the Arewa culture, an Arewa kind of lifestyle for the love music would have been perfect. But its a win for Classiq, the video currently has the greatest Publicly ever for a Hausa Kind of Music Hip Hop or not

Going to Rahama Sadau, since her debut in Nollywood which was received with mixed reactions from the people of Arewa due to the romantic nature of films in Nollywood

during an interview in that period Rahama Sadau said she wouldn’t do anything that will tarnish her name or against her religious teachings, there where rumours of romantic affaire within her and Classiq, tho we re not sure but its certain that she forgot the promise of doing something against the teachings of Islam. In Islam, it is highly prohibited to touch an opposite sex who is not related to you or not your life partner (i.e Husband or Wife)

Now to MOPPAN, the expulsion of Rahama Sadau is totally not called for, as this incidence has been happening for long in the industry, even recently in Super Story there was a scene that Saw Rahama Sadau and Sani Danja hugging each other, if there is a provision for something like this in MOPPANs public code of conduct for artists not to, then we’ll definitely be seeing acts like Ali Nuhu being expelled. So to MOPPAN this is an act of gender inequality, rather than expel her they should strike a warning to all acts not to do such and bring up a strong rule for that irrespective of being a Male or Female act

Back to the fans, KannyWood is currently the biggest means of promoting Hausa culture, and Hausa people are known to be the most shy kind of people in Africa especially when it comes to romance and Rahama Sadau is one big Public representative of our Culture, so the Truth is that she should not have took up that role or should have requested some modifications to the script, truth be told she must not hug him to make the video perfect. Adele Hello video did not saw her hugging anybody, but the video is many times perfect than this.
