Actor and Producer: Usman A. Adeyemi ( Nollywood/Kannywood) came to fame starring in movies, some of which he produced. The young CEO Uzee Concept who began his movie career in the year 2003, started as a make-up artist where he won an award at the (African Movie Academy Awards) AMAA in 2008; Best Makeup Artist for the movie, London Boy and soon gained experience and contact that launched him into stardom.
Usman Uzee, who was born in Kaduna, Nigeria on the 11th of November 1984, is a unique figure in the industry at the moment based on his penchant for movies that bring Kannywood and Nollywood together. The young Kannywood producer holds two degrees in Political science and English from University of Abuja and University of Jos respectively. Uzee moved to South Africa where he studied Special Effects.
Over the years, the Actor/Producer has produced over 20 movies both in Nollywood & Kannywood
which earned him multiple awards like Actors Screen Awards 2013 - Best Producer , City People Magazine Award 2013- Best Fil (Oga ABUJA), Kaduna Entertainment Award (KEA2014) - Best Film (Oga ABUJA), Sweden Films Festival 2014 - Best indigenous Movie in Abroad (MAJA), City People Entertainment Award 2014 – Best Movie Maja. Alongside several Nominations. Currently his Movie MAJA is the most successful movie in kannywood industry and also in the Nigerian Entertainment Award, having 4 nominations, making it leading the Pack in the movie zone ahead of all Nollywood Movies.
