Famous award winning Hausa movie actress Fati Ladan has on last week Friday bided the Hausa movie industry a farewell as she tie the knot with her long standing lover Shetima Yarima.
Fati Ladan who is seen as the next Kannywood screen queen has decided to quit the screen business and get married to her heartthrob in a low keyed wedding arrangement in Kaduna.
The wedding Fatiha was conducted at Anguwn Sarki Kaduna with thousands of well-wishers in attendance even though there was a last minute change of venue due to some certain domestic issue related to the bride’s choice of husband.
A dowry of
N150, 000.00 was paid by the family of the groom during the wedding Fatiha proceedings which now made Fati Ladan a wife to Shetima Yarima who has a wife already and four children.
Former Kaduna state Governor Alhaji Balarabe Musa and former commissioners that served in Kaduna state among other prominent artist like Ali Nuhu, Abbah Al-Mustapha are among those that graced the wedding Fatiha.
However a reception was later held at Royal Tropicana Hotel where artist from the Hausa movie industry converged to celebrate with the actress and also to bade her farewell as she is quitting the movie circle.
